le chapitre du mois de Steel Ball Run (#30) ainsi qu'un résumé en anglais.

Gyro & Johnny against Wekapipo fight, 2 on 1.
Johnny's nails have finally reloaded, but even with a full count
and Gyro's balls, the fight is still in favor of Wekapipo's Wrecking Ball.
Gyro cannot deliver a final blow with his Golden Spin,
as he needs to use an object in nature for a Golden Rectangle reference,
but cannot find anything in the icefields.
And so he makes a dash to the injured coyote, as it is a "reference."
He also asks Johnny to cover him from Wekapipo's attacks.
Wekapipo tosses one as Gyro runs, and Johnny manages to deflect
the Wrecking Ball with all 10 of his nail bullets.
Gyro counters with his steel, but is blocked by Wekapipo,
with a familiar defensive spin move. Like when Gyro protected
himself against F.V.Stroheim's bullets.
Wekapipo never forgets to pay respect to the strength of the spin,
and never underestimates Gyro's technique, which is drawn from nature.
He then deflects Gyro's steel with his own, and takes the advantage
by leading the "satellite balls" to the downed wolf, breaking the ice
and sinking the body in the waters of Lake Huron. Or was it Superior?
Wekapipo is now one step ahead.
Gyro's left half is out of commission with the Wrecking Ball,
and Wekapipo has 2 throws available.
Looks bad for Gyro.
He firmly believed that if he follows the true path,
he would find the light that would guide him. But where is the light?
He's cornered by Wekapipo, without a Golden Rectangle.
And then Wekapipo's steel flies at Gyro's face,
Gyro suddenly remembers his fathers words...
"There are limits, in both society and in the hearts of men."
"The 'death sentence' and 'prolonging life' are 2 of such contradiciting limits."
"The Zeppeli clan has its purpose to not step into society's boundaries,
as a tennis ball hitting the net."
"But at the same time, the Zeppelis believe in 'miracles.' We must
pray for a 'miracle' to happen, for the ball to fall on the other side of the net..."
As Gyro begins to fall apart, he notices that it's beginning to snow.
That's when Gyro's ball breaks one of Wekapipo's balls apart.
Johnny sees from afar, where he sees that it's only snowing where
Gyro and Wekapipo are standing. The ice near the wolf was broken
by the Wrecking Ball, which created a mist in the icy air, creating snow.
The snowflake, which was a perfect example of the Golden Rectangle...
With his new "reference," Gyro's steel tears through the remaining ball
of Wekapipo, and also adding a fresh new hole in his gut.
Wekapipo definitely had the upper hand, and Gyro knew it too.
But Wekapipo states that the end is what matters, and tells Gyro that
some unknown force had helped him, which pushed him along that path.
The string of events which lead to his loss, was not by coincidence.
With those words, Wekapipo suddenly pulls out a knife and jabs it into his neck...
...before Gyro's ball knocks the knife out of his hand. Now he has the upper hand.
Wekapipo insists that Gyro kill him, as he came for his life.
But Gyro doesn't comply, as Wekapipo still has someone to come back to.
It is revealed that Wekapipo's sister is still alive, because of her blindness.
Gyro's father, Gregorio Zeppeli explains that if her sight was restored,
she would have easily been assassinated by her former husband's men.
But with the operation failed, one would think she wouldn't live that long anyways, and leave her be.
"That is how it is." Gregorio says.
"If this operation had succeeded, something worse may have happened..."
Gyro is pretty sure that Wekapipo's sister is still alive,
and currently living in the country in hiding, with help from Gregorio.
The two racers then notice the wolf that was thought to be injured get up and run off. It seems that Wekapipo's steel only broke the icy surface...revealing the secret Indian path of logs frozen in the ice.
Pocoloco hasn't discovered this path yet, and so the two might still have and advantage.
As Johnny and Gyro get on their horses, Gyro makes a request to the down Wekapipo. "Steven Steel's wife is in danger. Does a guardsman always have to guard the King or the President all the time? Why not a little girl...? We should be the ones doing this, but we're both tied up in the race..."
And we see a final shot of Wekapipo with tears in his eyes.
