Le New York Times a de bonnes nouvelles: le film sera en...3D !! Et Peter Jackson sera réalisateur sur les deux films.

The New York Times is busting out major headlines today: First with the revelation that ‘The Hobbit’ films will be filmed in 3-D, and now, all but confirming Peter Jackson will direct the two ‘prequels.’ (Woo Hoo!!! – Sorry, had to get that in there) According Michael Cieply’s article, an announcement to this affect will be coming in the next few days.

Mr. Jackson, who is a producer and writer of the two “Hobbit” films, agreed also to become their director after Mr. del Toro left the project earlier this year, citing the delays. Mr. Jackson’s agreement to direct the movies has been in place but hasn’t formally closed because it depends on the studios’ willingness to begin production soon, according to people briefed on his status.

The first “Hobbit” film is expected to be released in mid-December 2012, the second a year later. Mr. Jackson has said he can direct the films only if those release dates can be met.

“We’ve seen these reports before, reports saying there was going to be a greenlight in a couple of days — well, a week’s gone by and there isn’t one," adds Jackson. "You can’t believe everything you read. There is only one thing you want to believe and that’s when the studio announces a greenlight. As far as I’m aware that’s not going to be today. I keep hearing positive things. Everyone’s working very hard. There’s a lot of people at Warner Bros. who are working around the clock trying to manoeuvre through the MGM complexities. MGM is a company that is about to go bankrupt and in a way they are about to take The Hobbit into bankruptcy hell with them when they go down. Warners are trying to extract The Hobbit out of the bankruptcy hell before it happens. It is just so complicated I can’t even put my head into it. It’s all to do with American copyright laws, bankruptcy laws. A lot of Warner Bros. lawyers are working round the clock at the moment trying to make it happen so let’s see."

Bah à part Elrond, les autres elfes n'ont qu'à rester stoïque pour être crédible donc si elle arrive à la fermer, elle tiendra sa place.

S'ils ramènent une actrice aussi connue ce n'est pas pour lui donner un rôle de figurant. Il y a fort à parier qu'elle sera au centre de toute l'histoire, d'une façon ou d'une autre.

C'est Ian McKellen et oui il sera bien dans Bilbo.
Ils seront plusieurs de Lotr à faire leur apparition dans le film : Gandalf, Elrond, Bilbo vieux et autres...

Faut dire que c'était ma plus grande crainte que de savoir si oui où non , ca allait être le même acteur qui reprendrait le rôle de Gandalf dans The Hobbit , me voilà rassuré tant il était trop classe dans la trilogie ...

Euh... dans mes souvenirs, à part Thorin, les nains sont quand même des branquignoles qui passent leur temps à se faire capturer par tout et n'importe qui. Donc oui, je les trouve super crédibles et fidèles aux souvenirs que j'ai du bouquin.

EDIT : je vous rappelle que Bilbo n'est recruté que pour leur éviter d'être 13 ! Ca veut tout dire
