Jemaine Clement (“Gentlemen Broncos,” “Dinner For Schmucks”), the hilariously low-key star of HBO’s “Flight of The Conchords,” has been cast as Yaz, a (presumably alien) villain in “Men In Black III.”

Josh Brolin (“Jonah Hex”) is the other newcomer to the franchise, which again reunites director Barry Sonnenfeld with Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.

Etan Cohen ("Beavis & Butt-head," "King of the Hill," "Idiocracy," "Tropic Thunder") penned the screenplay this time around.

Brolin plays a younger version of Jones’ Agent K, so everybody’s guessing J will be going back in time.

Le Comic Con selon Joss Whedon

Avant de s'attaquer aux Avengers, Joss Whedon va s'intéresser aux fans ! Le créateur de Buffy va réaliser le documentaire Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan's Hope, en collaboration avec le réalisateur Morgan Spurlock, la légende Stan Lee (à l'origine de Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor...), le bloggeur Harry Knowles et le directeur de Legendary Pictures Thomas Tull. Ce long-métrage suivra suivra 7 personnes venant du monde entier se rendant au Comic-Con de San Diego, la plus grande manifestation mondiale autour de la culture geek.

Le premier était culte. Raph' qui se la jour rebelle, qui sauve April. Le combat Splinter vs Schreider.
Le deux, déjà un peu moins, avec les deux nouveaux monstres. Et le 3 je me souviens d'un trip' de voyage dans le temps... pas marqué du tout.

Mais le 1 super culte.

Je l'avais d'ailleurs acheté quand ils ont ressorti le film en DVD... Et j'étais dégoûté du doublage québécois, très policé comparativement au doublage français qui était excellent (j'espère qu'ils reprendront les mêmes doubleurs, même s'il faut pas rêver)...

Le 1 avait une dimension un peu sombre assez sympa. C'est vrai que le 2 partait plus dans un délire cartoonesque avec en plus Vanilla Ice en guest dans le film ( ) et le 3 se passait effectivement dans le Japon des Samouraïs, plutôt exotique, mais sympa à regarder malgré tout, avec notamment le retour d'Elias Koteas (Casey Jones) qui faisait vraiment la paire avec Raph dans le premier épisode...

Indiana Jones 5 will begin shooting next year, and much of the plot line will be centered around the Bermuda Triangle, an area over the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft are said to have disappeared.

"George (Lucas) and Steven (Spielberg) have been working on a script and it's almost there," a source explained.

"Harrison is on stand-by for filming next year. This looks like being an emotional and exciting conclusion to the franchise, with Indy facing his biggest challenge yet."

Speculation has run rampant today with the debut of a short "Mortal Kombat" film (subtitled "Rebirth") that made its way anonymously to YouTube. Now, Latino Review reports that the film is, as many theorized, a test for a potential R-rated film reboot of the video game franchise.

The short is directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the director of last year's Fame, and features a cast that includes name actors like Michael Jai White (Jax), Jeri Ryan (Sonya Blade), Matt Mullins (Johnny Cage), Lateef Crowder (Baraka) and Ian Anthony Dale (Scorpion) with fight choreography by Larnell Stovall.

Though there is no guarantee that these actors will play the characters in a feature film version or even that a feature film will actually happen, the short is already a huge success online, with the word "Kombat" already a trending topic on Twitter.

You saw him Tropic Thunder and on last Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, and now Paramount is going to make movie about Tom Cruise's Les Grossman! The official announcement:

Paramount Pictures and MTV Films announced today that they are set to develop a movie around mega-producer Les Grossman. The announcement comes on the heels of Grossman’s groundbreaking and visionary production of the soon-to-be Emmy® award-winning 2010 MTV Movie Awards Sunday night. Tom Cruise, along with Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld of Red Hour Films will produce and have secured the life rights to Grossman.

Grossman, best known as a mega producer, has most recently mentored talents such as Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. In 2008, Grossman was introduced to the masses by Stiller in the comedy “Tropic Thunder” where the famed producer had a cameo playing himself.

Said Ben Stiller: “Les Grossman's life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds. He has assured me he plans to quote, ‘F**king kill the sh*t out of this movie and make Citizen f**king Kane look like a piece of crap home movie by the time we are done.’ I am honored to be working with him.”

When asked what the screenplay was about Grossman responded: “To quote my great friend Kirk Lazarus, ‘I don’t read the script, the script reads me.’”Adam Goodman, Paramount Film Group President said, "Everything I learned in this business, I've learned from Les. I started out as his assistant, and from the first day he threw his desk at me when I got his lunch order wrong, I have loved him like a father. I am forever grateful to Ben and Stuart Cornfeld and their ability to secure his highly-coveted life rights,"Tom Cruise is said to be in talks to portray Grossman in the film.Michael Bacall (“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”) will write the script.

Sherlock Holmes 2, which will start shooting soon for a December 16, 2011 release date. The site adds that if that doesn't work out, other names that have been bandied about as being in consideration include Sean Penn, Javier Bardem and Gary Oldman.
