Big moments in the core Gotham titles will set new runs in motion in other titles. Backups and shorts might turn into one-shots and miniseries and series, and we're working to make sure it all matters.

Arrive un moment, ce n'est plus le titre qui compte mais l'artiste derrière.

Hickman qui refait des mutants une franchise à l'écoeurement comme dans les années 90, par exemple. Mais c'est Hickman, donc ça intéresse.

En quoi le J. est-il si dangereux ? ~ Gotham, la corrompue, la dépravée...a toujours eu besoin d'un joker.
A l'origine il était le Red Hood, celui qui porte le chapeau : il dégageait les criminels associés de la responsabilité morale de leurs forfaits.
Pour ce qui en est de la thèse de "la mauvaise journée" : la manie est une folie qui ne naît pas d'un évènement traumatisant, mais anodin.
Chez le maniaque, la hache donne l'idée de l'homicide, la carabine est un appel au suicide, l'allumette éveille l'image d'un incendie,
le cimetière celui de sa profanation.
Un évènement survient à l'improviste, devient permanent, se change en une pensée de plus en plus pénible.
Quand la douleur devient insupportable, le seul refuge consiste à se casser la mémoire (passé décousu).
Etre un humoriste raté est une conséquence du goût du public de Gotham, pas une cause de sa folie.
Jouer un rôle auquel il n'entendait rien a été l'histoire de toute sa vie,- une blague.
Il se voit partout sur scène (représentation), et face à elle le sérieux (volonté).
Quel-est le point commun entre la ruse d'une association de mafaiteurs, un bain d'acide, une mauvaise journée, la folie, le rire satanique, une hystérie collective ?
Réponse : un exutoire. Un atout. Un prétexte. Une excuse.
Par extension, il rend le crime possible, et même souhaitable, il nous fait la proposition de le tenter; car il nous en disculpe de toute pénalité.
Il révèle la nature humaine : si nous étions absolument certains de nous en tirer, ne serions-nous pas tentés par tous les crimes ?
