Ohma's origins are becoming clearer and the tournament moving forward is great.

Ohma was an orphan when Niko found him and took him under his tutelage. So Niko ain't the physiological father of Ohma.

I think Ohma used to see Niko as an older brother rather than a father figure. I was wondering if Kano Agito wasn't like an older version of Ohma...we don't know much about his past but he seems to be coming from rags to rich thanks to his instinct and raw fighting talent as well.

Due to me being busy during most of last week, I didn't manage to translate chapter 172. But here's
at least a short synopsis of 172:

After telling Ohma about the foundations of Nikoryu, Niko and Ohma head to the Gakigahara*) forest
('Field of starving demons' - and also clearly a take on the Aokigahara forest west of Tokyo, which
is also known as the 'Suicide forest') for training.
Niko tells Ohma that a lot of his friends have dies there, and the training consists of Ohma having to
put 10kg weights on his hands and feet, and the training will only end if he successfully manages to
land a single blow on Niko (or when Ohma dies).

En gros après la fin du Tournoi dans le manga, et donc peut être après la fin du manga

C'est ça... On y est presque là avec la fin de la 2ème demi finale

Mouais, le style d'animation me donne pas l'impression de rendre le côté ultra bourrin de la série.

C'est vrai que le trailer est spécial et ne rends pas justice au côté dynamique de la série... Après je doute franchement que l'animé sera comme ça car apparemment il y'a de bons animateurs dans l'équipe.

Le trailer est dégueulasse, le japonais et la 3D dans les animes d'action c'est juste immonde :

-Blame
-Godzilla Netflix
-Soten no Ken s2
-Les moments CG dans les films Berserk
-Berserk TV
-Les openings (ou ending) de la série tv Baki
-Kingdom

T'as l'autre anime avec la meuf qui a des membres de cristal (j'sais plus le nom) qui était pas mal, mais bon, rien avoir avec de la baston virile à la Kengan Asura.

C'est sur que si trailer est la retranscription fidèle de l'animée on est mal barrés.
Pour moi c'était juste pour marquer le coup plus qu'un extrait réel.

Tout ce qui est typo avec des effets d'envre et particules à la street fighter c'est assez cool (et puis vu le crossover c'est de bon ton), par contre j'ai bien peur qu'on se tape de l'anim CG. Qu'est-ce que j'aurais kiffé un Waka vs Julius avec une anim à la Saitama vs Boros.

Oui il faut au moins ça pour rendre justice aux chorégraphies...
Je vois bien une anim' à la Brian Hawk vs Takamura dans Ippo ou Doppo vs Yujiro dans Baki.

D'ailleurs quels sont les combats de la série Kengan Asura qui vous a le plus marqué?

Je vois que tu as une préfèrance pour les duels de titans.

En ce qui me concerne j'attends aussi la deuxième demi avec impatience puisqu'elle oppose mes deux personnages favoris de la série.
Quel que soit le résultat je serai heureux ( même si je me doute de l'issue)...Pourvu qu'on ai du fight!
Un combat entre deux des plus gros favoris du tournoi ne peut que virer au drame
