And here's the translation of Ep.60! Since the first two pages are only a recap of what has happened before,
we'll start directly with page 3:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pg.03:
Kiichi: When you kill people there will be retribution.
In the worst case - death penalty.
What's wrong with that.
Yet there are times when you have to kill people.
Pg.04:
Tough Guyden
The man who succeeds the dragon
Kiichi: Since that time, more than 10 years have passed.
When a demon attains enlightenment he will become a Buddha,
when a Buddha loses his way he will become a demon.
Narration: Kiichis past gets unraveled...
Battle 59: Dojo destroying
Pg.05:
Kiichi: Listen Himeji...
Tashiro: My dear Tooru
Kiichi: It wasn't just that boy you killed.
Tashiro: Where have you gone?
Kiichi: You also killed the heart of this woman - his mother.
Pg.06:
Kiichi: You must spent your whole like to compensate for that sin.
Tashiro: Huh?
Kiichi: After all, the only one who can truly heal the heart of
a sufferer is the one who caused the suffering.
Pg.07:
Tashiro: Devil!
The devil is here!
Caretakers: Stop this.
Calm down.
Kiichi: It's ok.
Pg.08:
Kiichi: This is nothing compared to the pain that Ms. Tashiro had
to endure.
It's alright. Please do whatever you want, Ms. Tashiro.
Caretaker: But...
Tashiro: My dear Tooru
Pg.09:
Tashiro: Dear Tooru.
You're finally here again.
Kiichi: Yes.
Tashiro: Thank you so much for visiting me here.
Kiichi: Of course. I'll come whenever you need me.
Pg.10:
Sign: Oborosan. Dojo of Nada-Shin-Shinkageryuu
Voice: UAAH!
Pg.11:
Kiichi: Hey! What the heck?
Pg.12:
Man: Mr... Miyazawa Kiichi. Please fight me. *)
*) Translators note: In the original script all kana in his words are
written in Katakana, which denotes a foreign accent. There's no
real way to properly translate such thing into English script because it
mainly is a thing of wrong intonation instead of pronunciation.
Pg.13:
Nuon: I am Nuon Sari.
I use the Cambodian martial arts of Bokator. *)
*) Translators note: for details, just check
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BokatorKiichi: Oh my. You made it all the was from Cambodia to indulge in some
dojo destroying? *)
Translators note: This refers to the ancient Chinese practice of
martial artist traveling to some school, challenging the head
to a match and upon winning disallowing the loser to continue
leading his martial arts school and taking away the nameplate of his
dojo. It's a very old cliché as Kiichi
also comments on.
Kiichi: Nowadays such a thing would be even too lame to use in a
martial arts manga.
But alright - if you really want this schools signboard, you're
free to take it with you.
I've been thinking of closing down this dojo after all.
Pg.14:
Kiichi: I mean, I may be a genius when it comes to martial arts skills,
but my capabilities in management and finances are far from such
a level.
Moreover with this place being located at the deep and of this
godforsaken mountain, only boars and tanukis usually show up here.
Not too mention that this countries economy is going to shrink due
to the reversal of the age pyramid, plus the fact that the
martial arts craze of yesteryear seems to be over.
Nuon: I... didn't come for dojo destroying. Came to collect the prize.
Kiichi: Huh? Collecting what prize?
Nuon: Prize is 1.000.000,- *) for defeating Miyazawa Kiichi.
*) Translators note: I suppose this to be Yen, which would
currently **) calculate to about US$ 9100,-
**) Translators note to translators note: Interestingly enough, about
10 years ago (where this episode probably plays) the exchange rate
was roughly the same.
Nuon: Added bonus of 3.000.000,- if he gets crippled or incapacitated.
Pg.15:
Nuon: If he gets killed. 5.000.000,- bonus.
Kiichi: That's quite a disturbed story indeed.
I wonder who would put up such prize and for what purposes.
Nuon: Don't know.
And even if I did - wouldn't tell.
Kiichi: That's so stupid...
how can someone of your age fall for such an obvious fraud.
Pg.16:
Kiichi: Take this.
Pg.17:
Student: Whoa! He evaded Miyazawas kick!
Kiichi: Well done.
Pg.18:
Kiichi: I thought I'd forgive you if you apologized and paid the medical
fees for my disciple, but
Not anymore.
So show me what it is really all about.
Your Bokator.
Narration: Who the heck is this man...!?
Closing line: Tough Guyden. The man who succeeds the dragon. BATTLE.60 END
Next Episode: This mans true power becoming obvious...!?
