On a Seiko et Ryusei qui rencontre X ( qui connait Kibo)->Seiko apprend une technique a Ryusei qui bat X-> X rencontre Kibo qui le one Shot puis Ryusei et Seiko rencontre Kibo qui les marave...Jusqu'au prochain combat

Je n'arrive pas à télécharger le chap 52, ça me sort un installer mac à la place du chap, quelqu'un aurait-il la gentillesse de le reup sur un autre site?

perso j'aime beaucoup cet arc, même si je trouve ça pour l'instant un peu simpliste, j'ai hâte de savoir ce qui a transformé le "gentil Kiichi qui se lie d'amitié avec tous ses adversaires" en monstre impitoyable. Mais je ne vois pas bien comment Seiko peut apporter au petit nouveau suffisamment de techniques pour neutraliser Kiichi, sachant quel était déjà le décalage de niveau entre le père et le fils à la fin du second arc.... Bref, voyons la suite!

Ce que peut apporter Seiko à Ryusei ce sont les bases du Nadashinkageryu, comme il l'a fait pour Kiichi. A Ryusei de passer le cap ensuite, comme l'a fait Kiichi dans la seconde saison. On sait bien que Kiichi est au-dessus de Seiko depuis leur combat dans les tomes 19 à 22. Seiko le répète d'ailleurs à Kiryu lorsqu'ils se retrouvent tous pour assister au combat final entre Kiichi et Kakugo.

Moi aussi j'aime bien cet arc, même si le comportement de Kiichi est à l'opposé de ce que l'on a connu du personnage durant les 2 premières saisons et que la manière dont cela nous est amené par Saruwatari manque de clarté à mes yeux.

Décidément Kiichi est vraiment intouchable...En tout cas pour Oton qui est devenu un punching ball depuis le milieu de la saison 2.

J'espère que le "destin tragique" des enfants de Kiryu ne consiste pas être traqué par des combattants assoiffés de sang...parce que ça c'est pas une révélation.

PS: C'est moi ou liens upbox son toujours vérolés??

Je viens de m'enfiler les 39 volumes de Free Fight, quelle perfection narrative, quelle fin extraordinaire, bon on est d'accord, en milieux de saison 2, pour la finale contre le fils de Kiryu (voir Seiko vs Kibo), la série se transforme en Hokuto No Ken, ce qui peut paraitre déroutant (mais ayant relu récemment les 42 premiers volumes, il y a des moments pareils voir encore plus exagérés hein, les personnages vacillent entre techniques réalistes et surréalistes à la Baki), les combats de "zone" sont des combats de stand, mais je crois que toute la dernière moitié de la série est vraiment une mise en scène purement métaphorique, Kibo atteint le rang de dieu du combat, et c'est extrêmement juste, touchant, et sans parler des qualités techniques extraordinaire de l'auteur, je suis impressionné par la morale et le message d'une puissance rarement atteinte dans un accomplissement spirituel et physique du héros, et de sa place dans le monde, d'ailleurs ça me fait toujours rire quand des sportifs ouvre trop leur gueule pour se la péter, ici et là ba (ex Patrice Quarteron et ces dernières honteuses performances, empli de ces buzz débilement vomitifs). Bref les valeurs de ce manga ont dépassé toutes mes attentes. Est-ce que la suite est licenciée? Des infos la dessus?

J'ai posé la question sur cette suite, mais je n'ai pas encore eu de réponse. On peut imaginer que c'est possible, vu que tonkam a publié tous les volumes concernant cette série, y compris les spin-off concernant Seiko dans " Free Fight - Origins " et Kiryu dans " Devils x Devil ", même si, pour ce dernier, je n'ai pas vraiment adhéré. Wait and see, car même s'il a fallu attendre la publication de la fin de la saison 1 en France, Tonkam a enchaîné ensuite sur la saison 2.

Pour ma part, j'aurai bien aimé que l'arc "Baki - Son of ogre " soit publié en France, mais je ne sais pas ce qu'ont donné les chiffres de "Baki" publié chez Delcourt. Sans doute pas assez satisfaisant. C'est dommage.

Si je me souviens bien Garcia avait été surentrainé par Kiryu et les militaires, ce qui faisait qu'il était "vieux" avant l'âge. Au-delà du coeur, la surexploitation et la technique transmise par Kiryu à Kiichi sont les vraies raisons de la mort de Garcia.

I currently don't have access to the volumes of the first season of Tough - but I see things exactly like you do: Garcia was an overengineered guinea-pig to begin with, and the special attack he received from Kiichi (it seems clear that in the universe of Tough things like 'Ki' based attacks do exist, but it is also clear that the general populace, including doctors performing autopsy, would think of such concepts as bogus.) surely explains his demise.

And as for Jet, story-wise he grew up as a deaf and mute orphan in some South-American slum, meaning he obviously
experienced a childhood full of hunger and dearth which would be a good explanation for some dormant medical
impediments.

And even if the death of those two should be due to some genetic deficiency, they are only two of Kiryuus sons
(who according to the story seems to be the father of enough children to fill up a small country). Statistically
speaking, judging from two to the many is utter nonsense (not even mentioning the fact that recessive genetics
wouldn't work that way in the first place, considering that both Kiryuu and his father lived a long life and Kiryuus
children all come from different mothers), and so Seikos words (how did I translate them... ah yes: "Bullshit") are
probably the ones to believe.

What Kiichi is doing here is actively trying to mess with Ryuuseis mind - and the current Kiichi definitely is
a person who would do such things 'just for laughs' - if not for some hidden ulterior motive which we don't yet
know about.

Still, I think this was a very good episode from the point of story-telling, especially the final scene of Himeji in
the hospital room. I'm really curious to see how the story will evolve from here.

I know 'bout it.
Those with the dragons DNA have a high risk of developing
an idiopathic heart disease.

They don't show any symptoms before but one day their heart
just suddenly stops.

It's called "Burst Heart".


Pg.04:

Himeji: The role of the heart is pumping the blood through the
whole body by continuously contracting and extending.

"Burst Heart" is an illness that breaks out in 1 of 100.000
people. The ability of the heart to contract deteriorates and
the left heart chamber gets enlarged. It is an incurable
disease.

There's no way of treating it with current medical knowledge,
apart from undergoing a heart transplant.

Himeji: You're afraid?

Ryuusei: Just a little bit.

Himeji: Heh... if you hold your life such dear, you might better
stop following the path of a martial artist.

Ryuusei: Nope!

Because I want to challenge Miyazawa Kiichi once I'm in
perfect condition.

Himeji: Hehe. That's the right spirit indeed.

Ryuusei: Lemme guess. It was Miyazawa Kiichi who told you about
this "Burst Heart" thingy.

Himeji: Yup

Ryuusei: And that threw you into desperation and made you stray
from the right path?

Might have been a good opportunity, yes...
But then again, Tetsuya Saruwatari never showed us any strong female fighter whatsoever. Actually, the few female characters that do show up even somehow seem to look all the same. o_O;

J'espère qu'elle ne va pas avoir le même destin que le soeur de Seiko et tomber dans les oubliettes du scénario

La soeur à Seiko et Kiryu était une sacrée combattante aussi(TOUGH saison 1)

Yumiko était assez forte pour mater des quidam mais de là à en faire une "sacrée combattante"....
