Thank you Sonikku!

Baki doesn't seem to be a match for Yuujiro at all , I was expecting that, but not at that degree

However, even if Yuujiro is just playing around, it seems Baki has been able to dodge the attacks... kind of, at least the Ogre looked a bit surprised&annoyed to see Baki managed to get his hand out from that clap.

Great chapter, looking forward to the next one :D

Someone reported his site and he got his article deleted.

As he put himself

Patience, all will be well ... I'm sure some random person that isn't me will post recent chapters on some random website and post the links here. Obviously that person will not be me.

Hey, it's been so long since my last visit... Glad to see the forum is still (kind of) active.

I think i stopped coming here is because unfortunately i lost interest in SOO... I think up to Baki vs Oliva it was okay (though not as great as NGB) but after that something in me changed... I lost that pasion i had for Baki... I remember that great feeling i used to get when reading NGB(SOOSH)... It's lost now...

Honestly i can't tell you what happened after the Pickle saga... Retsu is being focued on, but i read the last few volumes and... nothing. I don't have a clue what they were about, they're THAT boring... But it's okay, let Itagaki make some bucks (though i'm not sure if by doing so he'll have the same faitful fans).

Btw is there a link to Keisuke's 20th anniversary with drawings from other mangakas? I would love to see that.

Also can someone please link me to the Gaia vs Obama colourful special :D? Where is that even from?

Where is the Retsu special from? The one that he uses a pen wow :P

I've been also wondering where do these colourful pages come from? For example the colourful Oliva? I mean are these included as a bonus in some chapters or what?

Looking forward to the new tournament and i hope Itagaki won't come up with some clone shiznet... That would suck...

Is sonikku still around?

I've been reading this forum for almost two years now, and I must say that not only is Ritual Scan Forge the best forum for Baki/Garoden, but that Sonniku's skill at translating Itagaki's work is bar none. I'm not sure what happened with the Win or Die Blog, but I'm dying to see the fight between Yujiro and Baki finally play out, hopefully for Yujiro, lol.

Maybe it's just me, but is anyone else curious about The Ogre's(Yujiro's) past and process to reach his ideology of being a force beyond that of man and machine/weaponry based on pure strength? He had to start somewhere, not exactly like Baki, but how unreal would it be to believe that he has never lost or had to face those whose skill, technique, and ability were greater than his at the moment? Yes, Keisuke blessed us with the one chapter special about his innate will to conquer all that was before him as a baby, but it just wasn't enough. Not for me at least, and I'm the biggest Yujiro fan there is... Or I should say that I know of.

Also, I like Garoden, but it is hard for me to get into, due to the lack of fleshing the characters out, and the fact that everyone is trying to attain one move that is rediculously hard to pull off, and treat it as if that is the only means of winning. The realism is nice to an extent, but the fights are repetative, and no one seems to feel any sort of pain, literally.

Does anyone know the name of Gaia's side story, and what happened to the Scarface Gaiden? Also, what kind of time frame are we looking at for the new SOO scans?

Latest volume is 29. I can't tell you which is the latest chapter though (at least right now, i'm lasy).

I got mine yesterday from the Wild Fang Project but i haven't read it along with 28... If you're willing to pay some dollarz, then you can get Garouden 1-25, Garoudenboy 1-2, Scarface 1-5, SOO 1-29, GB 1-21 (so far), etc etc. They're also the guys who did NGB (SOOSH) 1-31.

About Gaia - there are 2 side stories as far as i know - one with Obama and one about the "dark tunnel"

There's also 1 side story about Retsu and 2 about Hanayama i think.

Scarface - the story is on hold, because it takes place after the events in SOO, so far there are 5 volumes. So Keisuke and that other mangaka decided to stop it for now, cause there would be huge spoilers i guess.

I'm afraid Itagaki is taking a dark path - in Scarface it's reveiled that one of the guys has a sample of Yujiro's blood so this means that cloning technology or something similar is available during Scarface, so maybe the whole manga will turn out like crap. I still hope that Itagaki won't abuse the whole cloning-thing at maximum, cause what - are we going to see Yujiro's clones? That would SUCK and it would make Yujiro look like some random guy that they can clone.

Talking about Yujiro - what you said is interesting, of course Yujiro must have had strong opponents to overcome, but i think the idea behind him is that he's perfect. I don't think he has ever lost to anyone. If i'm not mistaken there was this time when Baki lost (maybe during the Kid saga) and then he complained about not being perfect (even if it meant losing once or w/e the case was). What i was dissapointed of is when i read GB raws and wanted to see young Yujiro and Oliva (one of my fav) talk or fight - similar to the way they did it in the anime. Well there's no such scene in the manga unfortunately... I think they made up the events in the last two episodes for the anime only.

Garouden - at some point it became my favourite manga. I can't believe you say you don't like it... It's full of great characters: Juzo (a favourite of mine, the best judoka), Crybaby Sakura, Dark Kuga, Himekawa, Shozan, the great Tatsumi, the prodigy guy from FAW... Ow man they're so great! About that last-minute technique - it's kind of true i guess (i have to reread everything to varify), but there were some cases like Tanba vs that small karate guy (Tsutsumi?) and they just exchanged blows during the whole fight (because Tanba was in that karate tournament and didn't want to show his ugly side to the kids watching it at home, and probably to hide his special moves). But if he were to use some grappling techniques, Tsutsumi would have lost long go. So i guess it's just more realistic to have some crazy style or technique in order to beat your's opponent.

Man a lot has happened since I ahve been gone, this is the first time I ahve heard about Gaia and Obama, link to that please? And Baki and Yujiro are fighting huh? If Baki loses again I am gonna laugh, hard to imagine how far behind he still is. Garouden I hav enot been keeping up with, the farthest I ahve gotten was when the new judo guy, took out Souichiro's eye, got beat up by Shozan and Jyohei, and is nnow fighting Bunshichi. Anyone wanna fill me in on what is going on now? In both Baki and Garouden and when we might see some new chapters being scanned? They are both series that are not well know so this is the only site I can really talk about it.

Baki the Grappler's Itagaki Starts Shaman Manga Series
Manga to begin serialization in Weekly Manga Goraku mag on December 16
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Manga creator Keisuke Itagaki (Baki The Grappler) will begin serialization on a new manga in the 2,294th issue of Nihonbungeisha's Weekly Manga Goraku magazine on December 16. The new manga will be titled Shaman.

Itagaki's original Baki The Grappler martial arts manga (pictured at right) ran in Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine from 1991 to 1999. Following a young male martial artist, the story unfolds as Baki Hanma faces opponents in order to become the strongest grappler in the world. He wants to take the title from his father gain his mother's approval. Baki The Grappler has received several manga sequels, two television anime adaptations, and an OAV (original animation video).

The live-action comedy film Graffreeter Toki (literally, "Toki the Freelancing Grappler") inspired by Baki The Grappler and starring AKB48 member Rie Kitahara will debut next spring.

In 2009, producer Northrop Davis pitched a live-action film adaptation of Itagaki's Baki The Grappler manga to Hollywood.

Shaman is inspired by the concept of dogeza—practice consisting of kneeling on the ground and look with reverence to ask for something, or to apologize; generally used before a person hierarchically higher up.

Can you PM me or post links to the rest of Son of Ogre volumes, Grappler Baki volumes and Baki Gaiden Scarface volumes (if you have them) in English (not in French), please?

Thanks for translation.

From what I'd guess, it was a joke from Reichan...
There's never any "Ritual scanforge team"... Sonikku posted here for a while, Tophunter did some translations as well, but no volumes were edited among the forum guys that I know of...
I'd say Reichan stopped Wild Fang Project and decided to gice us a last prank by sending all Baki leechers directly on RSF to annoy us again... :yeah:
Too bad guys, there's nothing for you here other than fans and links to the Raw volumes...

yeah, seems like it!
anyway who gives a fuck ?!you can get your baki and garouden fix from here or other sites-even if they are in japanese
he's the hypocrite, taking the raws from the web - translating them and then charging money, no matter how he tries to justify.
Wild Fang Project are getting raped by Fags in the projects on Christmas !
