Le synopsis officiel

In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Depuis la bande annonce de tron et/ou inception, un immense ensemble de bande annonce utilise le même fond musical sonore, c'est fou comme ça ne me fait plus du tout rêver (et souvent j'adore mater les teasers plus que les films en eux même).

Il me semble que ça serait plus Gary Mitchell, malgré son nom un peu commun. D'ailleurs la blonde qu'on voit dans la bande annonce ressemble furieusement au docteur Elizabeth Dehner.

Selon IMDB, Benedict Cumberbatch est censé joué Khan (whoever that be).
Et c'est sa voix qu'on entend en voix off dans la bande annonce, dans un rôle plutôt méchant, j'ai trouvé.

ristopher Nolan is gearing up for a new project -- Interstellar, another science fiction film which story "depicts a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding." The sci-fi project is now set to hit theatres and IMAX on November 7, 2014. Jonathan Nolan wrote the script (with Chris Nolan adding some of his original ideas), which is based on scientific theories developed by Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist and astrophysicist at Caltech. The film will be a co-production and joint distribution between Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures. Paramount will release the film domestically, while Warner Brothers will distribute it internationally. Steven Spielberg was previously attached to direct the film.

Des news du prochain. Noah Hawley, le gars derrière la série Legion, serait à l'écriture et réalisation du 4e.

According to Deadline, Hawley will produce alongside former Star Trek director J.J. Abrams. While not officially confirmed, Hawley's film is expected to be the fourth entry in the series that started with Abram's Star Trek.

Et en parallèle, Tarantino tafferait tj sur son R-rated Star Trek avec Abrams à la prod.
